Job Title: Software Support Specialist

Job Description: This full time customer service position requires providing on-going support for incoming calls from our Summit Petrolac Accounting© and Summit Convenience Store Accounting© software users.  The person in this position must understand the Petroleum business and be able to train, install and support our accounting software.  This includes verifying data with customers, balance financial statements at time of conversion, answer accounting and inventory management-related questions from software users, continually update customers on installation progress, provide ongoing assistance for users which requires in-depth knowledge of Summit's software products, troubleshoot and resolve any user support issues and maintain strong documentation.

We are looking for a strong background in convenience store management. 

Travel Requirements: 25%

Experience/Skill Requirements:
• 2 year accounting degree
• Knowledge of computers and Windows OS
• Customer Service experience
• Practical accounting experience
• Good problem solving skills
• Articulate speech and communication skills (excellent grammar, clear enunciation)
• Ability to work well with people via telephone or on-site visits
• Professional appearance
• Ability to work well within a team environment
• Strong background in convenience store management preferred
