X Errors
If you get an Active X error, follow the following steps to correct the problem. #4 and #5 apply only to XP users.
- Go to the Tools pull-down menu
and click on "Internet Options...".
- Then, click on the "Security"
tab and click on the "Internet" zone icon.
- Next, click on the "Custom Level" button.
- Scroll down to the "ActiveX control and plug-ins" section and look for the "Automatic prompting for ActiveX controls" option. Choose "Enable".
- Then, under "Binary and script behaviors", choose "Enable".
- Next, go to the "Download unsigned
ActiveX controls" section and choose the "Prompt" radio
button.
- Then, scroll down to the "Initialize and script ActiveX controls
not marked as safe" section and click the "Prompt" radio
button.
- Click "Apply" and "Ok" to exit the "Internet
Options..." window.
- Then, click on your browser's refresh button
to refresh this Web page.
