Active X Errors
If you get an Active X error, follow the following steps to correct the problem. Step #5 & #10 are unique to Vista & Windows 7 due to added security in the operating system.

  1. In Internet Explorer go to Tools then Internet Options.
  2. Go to the Security tab.
  3. At the top of the Security tab click on the green check box labeled "Trusted sites".
  4. Click the Default level button, then pull the slider bar for the security zone all the way down to low.
  5. Uncheck "Enable Protected Mode" (Vista & Windows 7 only).
  6. Near the top click on the Sites button.
  7. Uncheck "Require server verification"
  8. In the Box for "Add this website to the zone" type in www.summit-soft.com and click Add.
  9. Close and OK out of the Internet Option windows. Completely exit Internet Explorer.
  10. Right click on the Internet Explorer icon and select "Run as Administrator" (Vista & Windows 7 only. Will only need to do this the first time, not every time)
  11. Connect to the website, and it should install the activex control for eCommerce.
