How to Promote After Hours Support to UGMs
After hours support (M-F 5-9pm or Sat 8am-5pm) is to be used by UGMs for emergencies only (system crashes, etc.) and it costs $200.00 per hour (30 minute minimum charge). No Sunday or Holiday hours are currently offered, however, the hours might be adjusted during harvest time. The after hours cell phone is 260.615.7264.

In August 2002, Dick came to Summit to fill a brand new position in the Hardware/Technical Support Department. Prior to serving Summit as the Technical Services Manager, Dick received a BA in Business Management at St. Francis University (Fort Wayne, IN) with a major in Data Processing and a minor in Accounting, Marketing. He also earned an Associate Degree at ITT Technical Institute in Electronics Engineering Technology. Dick has 20 years of computer support experience in all types of hardware (SCO Xenix, SCO UNIX, DOS, Windows, NT Server, XP, RealWorld Accounting, etc). He is A+ and Microsoft MSE certified. His career has entailed 15 years of Technical Management, Dispatching, Purchasing, Accounting, Marketing Management and Systems Engineering.

Cris Tippmann

Cris graduated with a BS Degree in Information Systems from Purdue University in May of 2003. His college career provided him expertise in programming and problem-solving, data abstraction, computer hardware organization, operating systems, programming language design, web page design, and project management. He has two years of experience in both small business and large enterprise environments providing technical support for customers and end users. Mr. Tippmann's experience has helped him develop strong analytical and troubleshooting skills on a variety of operating systems. He began his career with Summit in August 2005.

Jason Sorensen

Prior to coming to Summit, Jason was in the Navy. After 2 years of schooling, he served as an Electronics Technician. While at his first duty station in Brunswick, ME, he became a Network Administrator for the DoD's SIPRNET. He separated from the Navy in October of 2005 and then worked for a law office as their Network Administrator. His background with computers includes HP-UX, Windows, Linux, and various programming languages.
Jason began his career with Summit in September 2006.

Greg graduated with a BS Degree in Industrial Technology and a minor in Information Systems from Purdue University in May of 2000. He was later employed by Purdue in Student Services Computing as a Technical Support Administrator. He has over 4 years of experience providing phone support for customers and end users. He is CompTIA A+ and Network+ certified. And also holds his MCP in Windows 2000 workstation and server. Greg began his career with Summit on June 11, 2007 as a Systems Administrator.
