Mike Kuker

Mike has spent 34 years in the programming industry experiencing many roles including programmer, designer, analyst, and manager.  Since his graduation from the University of Missouri, Mike has learned and applied his software development skills to the law enforcement, contract administration, electronics manufacturing, and moving and storage industries.  Mike joined Summit Software in January 2005 after a 20-year career developing, marketing, and supporting software for agent-affiliates of North American Van Lines.  Mike will be applying his management expertise to the software development department of Summit Software to gain the efficiencies required to meet the demands of Summit’s continued product growth.

Jana Taylor

Jana graduated from Purdue University in May 1984 with a B.S. degree in Computer Technology with a concentration in Business and Information Systems with a GPA of 5.58 on a 6.0 scale. She began her career as a Programmer at Lutheran Hospital in Fort Wayne, IN. Jana then went from healthcare to manufacturing with employment at Franklin Electric in Bluffton, IN; Dana Corporation in Fort Wayne, IN and Fredericktown, OH; and Stant Corporation in Richmond, IN. Positions held by Jana during this time included Programmer/Analyst, Senior Information Systems Auditor, Data Processing Coordinator, and Information Systems Manager. Just prior to coming to Summit in June of 2005, Jana was an Education Consultant for Glovia International a software company specializing in discrete manufacturing. Jana looks forward to learning about the grain, agriculture, fuel, and retail markets and assisting in the quality of Summit Software, Inc.

Rhonda McCoy

Before coming to work for Summit Software, Inc. in April 2006 Rhonda had been in the Credit Union/Software industry for 15 years.  She had worked for Professional Federal Credit Union while in the Cooperative Education program.  Then she moved to Kansas City, MO where she had done various positions from teller, accounting, lending and Office Manager.  Then her family was transferred back to the Fort Wayne area where she had worked for a local software company as a Software Support Representative for 4 ½ years handling conversion/upgrades and on-site visits to customers.  She is familiar with Linux, SCO and Unix systems.  She is also familiar with the character and graphical environments.

Tim Ringrose

Tim’s career with Summit Software, Inc. began in the summer of 1997, while helping to program the heart of Summit’s accounting systems. As a valuable member of the Summit team, his work evolved from programmer to Systems Administrator. Finally, in November of 2000, Tim was hired full-time as a Systems/Network Administrator. His distinctions include a certification for SCO Open Server and a strong background in Linux, Windows, and networking. In June of 2007, Tim was promoted to New Technology Specialist in the Programming Department.

Dave has attended Indiana University-Division of General and Technical Studies (DGTS) in Fort Wayne, IN; Charles County Community College, in Saint Mary's, Maryland; Ivy Tech in Fort Wayne, IN; & IPFW's Continuing Adult Education program in Fort Wayne. Dave has also received training at the U.S. Navy Data Process Schools and in classes and seminars at Honeywell Training Center in McLean, Virginia. Prior to coming to Summit, Dave served as Defense Contractor for Honeywell, Information Systems Team Member for Federal Systems Operations, and Defense Contractor for Mantech. In September 1989, Dave came to Summit.

Mike Wiggins

In 1976, Mike received his Associate's Degree from Indiana University - Division of General and Technical Studies (DGTS) in Fort Wayne, IN. He began his career as a Programmer at Lincoln Life Insurance in 1976. From there, Michael moved to Cover-all Rental from 1982-1984. Michael then broadened his wings as a system analyst for North American Van Lines from 1984-1986 and for Waterfield Mortgage from 1986-2001. After that, he made his move to Summit Software, Inc. on a part time basis in March 2000 and we excitedly welcomed him onto our full time staff in April 2001.

Dave Brown

Dave came to Summit in June of 2006 with over 26 years experience in the IT industry. Beginning as an Operator with Allen County Data Processing in Fort Wayne, he joined the programming team in 1982. He also attended IPFW’s computer tech program. Other opportunities found Dave programming at Renaissance Publishing Co. in Auburn Indiana, ITT Aerospace, and Waterfield Mortgage Co. Where, he spent the last 16 years developing both GUI and character programs on Unix and Microsoft platforms.

Renee Collins

Renee completed her Associates Degree in Accounting in 1990 with honors and a GPA of 3.83 from Ivy Tech State College in Fort Wayne, IN. She worked for K-Mart for nearly five years, working her way up from Customer Service Representative to more demanding positions including: Checkout/Service Desk Supervisor, Merchandiser, and Personnel Training Coordinator. Her career with Summit started in February 1991 when she became the Bookkeeper. After one year at Summit, she was promoted to Customer Support. Her responsibilities included hardware setup, installation, training, and program upgrades. In 198, a position was created for Quality Control and Renee took the role. Renee moved into the programming department in 2001.
Alan Aeschliman

In 1978, Alan received his BA in Math & Computer Science from Purdue at IPFW in Fort Wayne, IN. Prior to coming to Summit in 1985, Alan worked for Mutual Security Insurance for 9 years & Lincoln Life for 14 years (where he still works part time). He has several years of programming experience in Assembler & Cobol & has worked with several operating systems on various machines, including: DOS/VSE and MVS on mainframe computers & DOS & Unix on PCs.

Scott Wagner

Scott graduated in 1971 with a Bachelor's Degree in Applied Mathematics & Computer Science from the University of Michigan College of Engineering in Ann Arbor, MI. His 1st programming positions were at Lakeview Community Hospital and Borgess Hospital. He was also the Data Processing Manager at Kalamazoo Center Inn and Azar's, Inc. Next, Scott served as President of Retail Systems Concepts, Inc. He created & operated the corporation to provide industry-specific, user-custom solutions for Supermarkets including: G/L, AP & Receivable, Payroll/ Personnel, Warehousing, Scanning Support & Bad Check/Courtesy Card Control. He trained personnel in the use of the packages & wrote/maintained all user manuals, including an on-line context-sensitive help system. In 1995, Scott became the Manager of Wagner & Associates. They provide operating systems and application support for 12 corporations. He developed, modified and upgraded accounting & specialized software with Cobol in multiple Unix and DOS environments. In February 1998, Scott came to Summit as a part-time programmer.

Kim Hoffman

Kim completed her degree in Computer Technology in 1981 from Purdue at IPFW in Fort Wayne, IN.  Kim had worked summers at North American Van Lines (NAVL) while attending college so after she received her degree, NAVL promoted her into a programming position in the IT department.  While in IT at NAVL for 25 years, Kim developed and supported many systems including Order Registration, Dispatching, Satellite communications, Billing, and Accounting.  Kim joined the Summit programming team in October 2006.

Raelynn Cox

Raelynn earned her an Associates in Applied Science Degree in Computer Programming at Ivy Tech State College with a 3.82 GPA. From 1982-1990, she served as the Data Processing Department Manager for the First National Bank of Fremont. Raelynn entered the grain and agriculture industry in 1990 when she became customer support tech for CTN Data Service. Her 9 1/2 year career at CTN included phone support, training new users, updating manuals, testing new software releases, and sales at farm shows around the country. After leaving CTN, Raelynn went back to school at Ivy Tech where she earned additional Associates Degrees in Networking Specialty and PC Hardware. She also received the Outstanding Student Award for the Business Division and was nominated for the Melvin L. Curtis Award for Academic Excellence. From 2002–2006, Raelynn entered the utilities industry when she contracted as a QA Team Lead at NIPSCO and was involved in quality control for data entered into various computer systems including mainframe programs and AutoCAD. While working with NIPSCO, Raelynn provided software support, created processing flowcharts and created user documentation. Ms. Cox joined the Summit programming team in January 2007.

Mike Noe

Mike Noe has 19 years of experience programming in Cobol.  He has worked locally at Lincoln Financial, in Indianapolis for Sallie Mae, and in South Bend for Citigroup. Mr. Noe joined our Programming Department as a Programmer Analyst in May 2007.

Mary Westerman

Prior to coming to work at Summit Software, Mary worked as an IT consultant at Prince Manufacturing in Avilla/Garrett working on setting up scheduling in their Vantage system and maintaining their PCs and phone systems. She also spent some time at nalWorldwide as a Logistics Planner/Computer expert. Mary returned to Ft. Wayne from Lakeland Florida in 2005, after a 15 year absence. In Florida she worked at Publix, twice, as a computer consultant, GTE Data Services and its’ sister company TSI, and for 7 years worked for Watkins Motor Lines as a Senior Programmer/Analyst. Primarily her experience is in Cobol, DB2, CICS, and JCL, but while working at Badcock Home Furnishings just before leaving Florida she gained experience with AcuCobol and Unix. For fun Mary likes to stage manage plays. She has over 10 years experience in Florida working for theaters in Lakeland and Winter Haven. Recently she stage managed a show for the Civic Theater and will be stage managing Shadowlands next February. On July 2, 2007, Mary joined us as a Programmer/Analyst.

Diane Royal

Diane graduated from Ivy Tech in 1985 with two Associates Degrees; Business Management and Marketing. Diane brings with her 9 years of business analysis and project life cycle experience, gained primarily in the Mortgage Lending industry. She was most recently employed with American Home Mortgage and prior to that with Waterfield Mortgage Company as a Business Analyst. Her experience includes 14 years at Waterfield, where she gained extensive Mortgage Lending experience starting in collections and then quickly moving on from there to Customer Service, Loan Processing and Underwriting, then on to the IT Department in 1998 as a Business Analyst where she remained until the company was sold to American Home Mortgage. During her time at Waterfield and American Home, her experience included working with both the character and GUI environments, as well as Unix systems. Diane joined Summit as a Product Analyst on 10/8/07.

Angie Krugh
