In May 2002, Brian graduated Summa Cum Laude from Ball State University with a bachelors degree in Finance and a minor in Computer Science. While completing his education, Brian held positions as a University Computer Lab Manager, Academic Director for a summer computer camp, and interned as an Accounting/IT systems analyst. Brian joined Summit’s Software Support Team in July 2002. In March 2008, Brian accepted the position of Project Manager for the Petrolac© and Summit C-Store© Team.

In 1994, Jan received her Associate’s Degree in Accounting with a 3.75 GPA from Ivy Tech State College. After hiring on at Summit as the bookkeeper in 1995, Jan was promoted to Software Support at the end of the year. In 1998, she was promoted to Software Support Assistant Manager.

Amy graduated with honors from the University of Saint Francis in May 1999 with a Bachelor’s in Business Administration.  Ms. Houshoulder comes to Summit with over 20 years of customer service experience, of which the last 8 years were in a technical support role as Lead Help Desk Analyst for Waterfield Mortgage.  Her prior experience also includes A/R Clerk for a petroleum broker, retail/POS supervision, and hotel management. Amy joined Summit’s Software Support Team in August 2006.

Originally from the West Coast (OR and CA), Penny traveled to Fort Wayne, IN via the United States Navy where she was enlisted from 1993-1995 as a Hospital Corpsman and last stationed in Waukegan, IL. Ms. Sodeman attended Indiana Institute of Technology in pursuit of a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting and plans to return to complete the degree. She has also attended Kaplan University in their online forum in pursuit of a degree in Paralegal Studies. Penny has an extensive background in the legal field but also provided most, if not all, of the accounting for the different firms by which she was employed. Ms. Sodeman has experience in the medical and dental fields as well. An avid golfer, Penny belongs to two leagues in the summer months and was an Officer for the Canterbury Green Women’s Golf Association in 2003, 2005 and 2006. While she may not be getting her card to the LPGA anytime soon, Penny does enjoy the game. Ms. Sodeman also keeps stats for several softball teams throughout the year, including a winter indoor league. She enjoys singing karaoke and has won a few contests over the years but stills get stage fright at times. Penny joined Summit's Software Support Team in October 2006.
